- Rice flour - 25 grams

- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Water - 100 ml
- Oil - for deep frying
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chickpea flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Add the thinly sliced onions, chopped cilantro, and green chili to the dry ingredients.
- Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until a thick batter coats the onions evenly.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- Drop small portions of the onion batter into the hot oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry the bhajis for about 4-5 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, turning them occasionally.
- Remove the bhajis with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
