Ingredients

  • Mutton mince - 300 grams
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 medium (100 grams)
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Green chilies (finely chopped) - 2
  • Cilantro (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Oil (for grilling) - 2 tablespoons
  • Naan or paratha - 2 pieces
  • Sliced onions - 1/2 cup
  • Tomato slices - 1/2 cup
  • Mint chutney - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mutton mince, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, cilantro, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Preheat a grill or a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Lightly grease the grill with oil.
  4. Take a portion of the marinated mutton mixture and shape it around a skewer, pressing firmly to ensure it holds together. Repeat for the remaining mixture.
  5. Grill the seekh skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice char on the outside.
  6. While the seekh is grilling, warm the naan or paratha on a separate skillet.
  7. Once the seekh is cooked, carefully remove them from the skewers and place them in the center of each naan or paratha.
  8. Top each roll with sliced onions, tomato slices, and a drizzle of mint chutney. Roll them up tightly.
  9. Serve the Mutton Seekh Rolls hot with extra chutney on the side.
