- Mutton mince - 300 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Mint leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Oil - for grilling
- Tomato - 1 medium, pureed
- Cream - 2 tablespoons
- Kasuri methi - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine mutton mince, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chili, cilantro, mint leaves, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice, and beaten egg. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion onto skewers, forming long kebabs.
- Heat a grill pan or tandoor over medium heat and brush with oil. Cook the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
- In a separate pan, heat a little oil and add the pureed tomato. Cook for about 5 minutes until the oil separates from the puree.
- Add cream and kasuri methi to the tomato sauce, stirring well. Let it simmer for another 3-4 minutes to blend the flavors.
- Serve the grilled mutton seekh kebabs hot with the tomato cream masala drizzled over them.
