- Mutton mince - 300 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Green chilies - 2, finely chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Breadcrumbs - 2 tablespoons
- Oil - for grilling
- Burger buns - 2
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Onion - 1 small, sliced
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the mutton mince, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, cilantro, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty or kebab shape.
- Heat oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the mutton patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are well-cooked and browned.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns lightly on another pan or grill.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of the bun, followed by the cooked mutton seekh patty, sliced tomato, sliced onion, and mayonnaise. Top with the other half of the bun.
- Serve warm with your favorite side or dipping sauce.
