  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Onion (finely chopped) - 1 medium
  • Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Mint leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Oil - for grilling
  • Skewers - 4-6 (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground mutton, yogurt, chopped onion, garlic paste, ginger paste, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, salt, cilantro, mint leaves, and lemon juice.
  2. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined. Cover the bowl and let the mixture marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  4. Once the marination time is up, take the mutton mixture and form it into kebab shapes or mold it onto skewers.
  5. Brush the skewers with a little oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are fully cooked and have a nice char on the outside.
  7. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
