- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Mint leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Oil - for grilling
- Skewers - 4-6 (soaked in water if wooden)
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground mutton, yogurt, chopped onion, garlic paste, ginger paste, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, salt, cilantro, mint leaves, and lemon juice.
- Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined. Cover the bowl and let the mixture marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Once the marination time is up, take the mutton mixture and form it into kebab shapes or mold it onto skewers.
- Brush the skewers with a little oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are fully cooked and have a nice char on the outside.
- Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
