  • Green chili - 1, slit (adjust for spice level)
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Clean the mussels under cold running water, scrubbing the shells and removing any beards.
  2. In a large pot, heat the coconut oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili, sautéing until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).
  3. Add the cleaned mussels to the pot along with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir to coat the mussels in the garlic mixture.
