Ingredients

  • Button mushrooms - 200 grams

  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems, then place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, grated ginger, garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt to make a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the mushrooms, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C (390°F).
  5. Thread the marinated mushrooms onto skewers, brush with olive oil, and place them on the grill or in the oven.
  6. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the mushrooms are cooked and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve hot.
