Steps

  1. Heat ghee in a pan on low flame and add the chopped nuts, sautéing them until they turn golden brown.
  2. Add the grated jaggery to the pan and stir until it melts completely, forming a syrup.
  3. Incorporate cardamom powder and a pinch of salt into the jaggery syrup, mixing well.
  4. Add the puffed rice to the pan and mix thoroughly to ensure the puffed rice is evenly coated with the jaggery mixture.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  6. Once cool enough to handle, grease your palms with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small round ladoos.
  7. Roll the ladoos in desiccated coconut for an added layer of flavor and texture.
  8. Allow the ladoos to cool completely before serving.
