- Paneer - 200 grams
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Wash and dry the methi leaves thoroughly, then chop them finely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, salt, and oil to create a marinade.
- Add the chopped methi leaves and cubed paneer to the marinade, ensuring everything is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Thread the marinated paneer and methi mixture onto the skewers, alternating between the two.
- Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.
- Remove from the grill and serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
