- Water - 100 ml (adjust as needed)
- Oil - 2 tablespoons (for cooking)
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Wash the fresh fenugreek leaves thoroughly and chop them finely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Add the chopped fenugreek leaves to the flour mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add water to the mixture, kneading until you form a smooth, pliable dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a flat disc (approximately 10 cm in diameter).
- Heat a tawa or flat griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
- Cook each flatbread on the tawa for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Drizzle a little oil on each side while cooking for added flavor.
- Once cooked, remove from the tawa and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving.
