  • Fresh methi leaves (fenugreek) - 50 grams
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Tomato puree - 100 grams
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into cubes and add to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Cover and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until it's browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the tomato puree and chopped methi leaves. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
