- Pizza dough - 250 grams
- Fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves - 100 grams
- Heavy cream - 100 ml
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Bell pepper - 1 small, diced
- Tomato - 1 small, diced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Cheese (mozzarella or pizza cheese) - 150 grams, grated
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add finely chopped onions and sauté until translucent. Then add diced bell pepper and tomatoes, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the fresh methi leaves, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the methi is wilted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed mixture with heavy cream, stirring well to create a creamy methi sauce.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the methi cream mixture evenly over the pizza base.
- Top with grated cheese and sprinkle red chili flakes over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
