Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves - 50 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Cream - 50 ml
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine minced chicken, chopped methi leaves, onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form the chicken patty mixture.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and fully cooked through.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, reduce the heat and add cream to the skillet, allowing it to coat the patties and create a creamy sauce.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly on a separate pan or in the oven.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce, the chicken patty with methi malai sauce, and a slice of tomato on the bottom half of each bun. Top with the other half of the bun and serve hot.
