- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon

- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - for brushing
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt to create a marinade.
- Add the chopped methi leaves to the marinade and mix well.
- Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated fish pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
- Brush the skewered fish with a little oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the fish is cooked through and has a nice char.
