  • Ginger - 1 inch, grated
  • Green chili - 1, slit
  • Chicken broth - 500 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the diced chicken breast and cook until it's no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken with the spices.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Add the chopped methi leaves to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes until the leaves wilt.
  7. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
