- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon

- Oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Wash the fresh fenugreek leaves thoroughly and chop them coarsely.
- In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds and 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds to the hot oil and let them crackle.
- Add the finely chopped onion to the pan and sauté until it becomes translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped tomato and cook until it softens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder and salt to taste, mixing well.
- Add the chopped fenugreek leaves to the pan, and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until they wilt down and are cooked through.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then remove from heat.
- Serve hot as a side dish with roti or rice.
