- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Vegetable broth - 500 ml
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps
- Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for about 8-10 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add garam masala and black pepper. Blend the soup until smooth using an immersion blender or regular blender.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary, then stir in chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with a drizzle of olive oil and additional coriander for garnish.
