Ingredients

  • Prawns (peeled and deveined) - 300 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal) - 4

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade.
  2. Add the prawns to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated, and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated prawns onto the skewers, about 4-5 prawns per skewer.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the prawns are cooked through and slightly charred.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
