- Paneer - 200 grams
- Bell peppers (red, green, yellow) - 1 each, diced
- Onion - 1 medium, diced
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Cut the paneer into 2.5 cm cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to form a marinade.
- Add the paneer cubes, diced bell peppers, and onion to the marinade. Toss gently to coat all pieces evenly. Cover and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or barbecue on medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated paneer and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between paneer, bell peppers, and onion.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until paneer is golden and vegetables are slightly charred.
- Remove from grill and serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt dip.
