  • Eggs - 4 large

  • Green chili - 1, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
  • Coriander leaves - 10 grams, chopped
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Oil or ghee - 2 teaspoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them until well combined.
  2. Add the chopped onion, tomato, green chili, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper to the eggs and mix well.
  3. Heat oil or ghee in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Once the oil is hot, pour the egg mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown.
  6. Carefully flip the omelette using a spatula and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.
  7. Once cooked through, slide the omelette onto a plate and cut it in half.
  8. Serve hot with a side of fresh salad or low-carb chutney.
