Ingredients

  • Fish fillets (salmon or tilapia) - 300 grams
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves (cilantro) - for garnish
  • Oil (for grilling) - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to make the marinade.
  2. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized cubes and add them to the marinade. Mix well to coat the fish evenly, then cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated fish pieces onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Brush the skewers lightly with oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Grill the fish for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the fish is cooked through and has a slight char.
  7. Remove from the grill and garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
