  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - for frying
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Onion - 1 small, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
  • Yogurt - 4 tablespoons
  • Mint leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a bowl, marinate the fish fillet with lemon juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, salt, and ginger-garlic paste for at least 15 minutes.
  2. After marinating, coat the fish fillet in all-purpose flour, dip it in beaten egg, and then coat it with breadcrumbs.
  3. In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat and fry the fish fillet until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. While the fish is frying, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing yogurt, chopped mint leaves, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly in a separate pan or toaster.
