Ingredients

  • Chicken wings - 500 grams
  • Yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh cilantro - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, mix yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, salt, and vegetable oil to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably for 2-4 hours for enhanced flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat it to 200°C (400°F).
  4. Remove the wings from the marinade and shake off excess. Place them on the grill or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper if using an oven.
  5. Grill the wings for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through. If using an oven, bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Once cooked, remove from heat and let them rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
