Ingredients
- Chicken wings - 500 grams
- Yogurt - 100 grams
- Ginger paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, salt, and vegetable oil to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably for 2-4 hours for enhanced flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using an oven, preheat it to 200°C (400°F).
- Remove the wings from the marinade and shake off excess. Place them on the grill or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper if using an oven.
- Grill the wings for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through. If using an oven, bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and let them rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
