- Walnuts - 50 grams
- Pecan nuts - 30 grams
- Maple syrup - 60 ml
- Coconut oil - 30 grams
- Ground cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Sea salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a small baking dish (about 20x20 cm) with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almonds, walnuts, and pecans, and chop them roughly if desired.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the coconut oil and maple syrup together until well combined. Stir in the ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
- Pour the warm maple mixture over the chopped nuts and stir until all nuts are well-coated.
- Transfer the nut mixture into the prepared baking dish, pressing it down firmly to create an even layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the dish before lifting out and cutting into bars.
