- Ripe mango - 1 large (about 200g)
- Greek yogurt - 100g
- Honey - 2 tablespoons (30g)
- Fresh lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Gelatin powder - 1 teaspoon (optional for firmness)
- Water - 2 tablespoons (30ml, for gelatin)
- Chopped nuts (pistachios or almonds) - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- Peel and chop the ripe mango into small pieces, then blend them in a blender until smooth to make mango puree.
- In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, and cardamom powder, and mix well until smooth.
- If using gelatin, dissolve it in 2 tablespoons of warm water and let it sit for a few minutes to bloom, then mix it into the mango puree.
- Fold the mango puree into the yogurt mixture until well combined.
- Divide the mousse into two serving bowls or glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
- Before serving, garnish with chopped nuts on top.
