Ingredients

  • Ripe mango - 1 large (about 200g)
  • Greek yogurt - 100g
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons (30g)
  • Fresh lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Gelatin powder - 1 teaspoon (optional for firmness)
  • Water - 2 tablespoons (30ml, for gelatin)
  • Chopped nuts (pistachios or almonds) - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Peel and chop the ripe mango into small pieces, then blend them in a blender until smooth to make mango puree.
  2. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, and cardamom powder, and mix well until smooth.
  3. If using gelatin, dissolve it in 2 tablespoons of warm water and let it sit for a few minutes to bloom, then mix it into the mango puree.
  4. Fold the mango puree into the yogurt mixture until well combined.
  5. Divide the mousse into two serving bowls or glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  6. Before serving, garnish with chopped nuts on top.
