  • Chopped pistachios - 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped almonds - 1 tablespoon
  • Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Begin by crumbling the fresh paneer into a mixing bowl until it becomes smooth.
  2. Add the ripe mango puree, honey, and cardamom powder to the crumbled paneer, mixing well until fully combined.
  3. In a non-stick pan, heat the ghee over medium heat and add the paneer mixture.
  4. Cook the mixture, stirring continuously, for about 8-10 minutes until it thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and let it cool slightly before pressing the mixture into a greased plate or tray.
  6. Once set, cut the kalakand into squares or diamond shapes.
  7. Garnish the top with chopped pistachios and almonds before serving.
