Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams, diced
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon, melted
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the diced chicken to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Brush the skewers with melted butter for added flavor.
  6. Grill the chicken skewers for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from grill and sprinkle with chopped cilantro before serving.
