Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 400 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wraps)
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped cilantro, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, black pepper, coconut flour, and beaten egg. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and nicely browned on the outside.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing and drying the lettuce leaves.
- Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each lamb patty on a lettuce leaf. Top with slices of tomato, red onion, and avocado.
- Wrap the lettuce around the patties and serve immediately.
