Kozhukattai
Kozhukattai is a traditional South Indian steamed dumpling made from rice flour and filled with a delicious mixture of coconut and jaggery. This healthy snack is not only delightful but also a great source of energy and nutrients.

Ingredients
- Rice flour - 1 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
- Jaggery - 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
- Ghee - 1 tsp (optional)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine rice flour and salt. Gradually add water and knead to form a smooth dough.
- In a separate pan, melt jaggery with a little water over low heat until it dissolves.
- Add grated coconut and cardamom powder to the jaggery mixture and stir well until combined. Cook for 2-3 minutes and let it cool.
- Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten each ball and place a spoonful of the coconut-jaggery mixture in the center.
- Carefully fold the edges over the filling and seal to form a dumpling.
- Grease a steamer basket with ghee and arrange the dumplings in it. Steam for 10-15 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove from the steamer and serve warm.
