- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon

- Oil - for frying
- Burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato - 1 (sliced)
- Onion - 1 (sliced)
- Mustard sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Coriander leaves - a handful (chopped)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the basa fish fillet, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- After marinating, mash the fish mixture lightly with a fork and shape it into two patties.
- Dredge each patty in rice flour, dip them into the beaten egg, and then coat them with bread crumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, fry the fish patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Toast the burger buns lightly on the same pan until golden.
