  • Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green chili - 1, slit (optional)
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Oil (coconut or olive) - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Peel the kohlrabi and cut it into thin noodle-like strips using a spiralizer or a julienne peeler.

  5. Add the kohlrabi noodles, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and soy sauce. Toss everything well to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the kohlrabi noodles are tender but still have a slight crunch.
  7. Season with salt to taste and remove from heat.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
