Ingredients
- Grated fresh coconut - 100 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Jaggery (grated) - 50 grams
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Chopped pistachios - 15 grams
- Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 50 ml
Steps
- In a pan, heat the ghee on medium heat and add the grated fresh coconut, stirring for 2-3 minutes until it releases a pleasant aroma.
- Add the almond flour and continue to sauté for another 2-3 minutes, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the grated jaggery in 50 ml of water and bring to a boil. Stir until the jaggery completely dissolves.
- Pour the jaggery mixture into the coconut and almond flour mixture, and mix thoroughly.
- Add the cardamom powder and continue to cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes, or until the mixture thickens and starts to separate from the pan.
- Once the mixture is ready, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly. Grease a plate or tray with a little ghee.
- Transfer the mixture to the greased plate and flatten it evenly with a spatula. Sprinkle the chopped pistachios on top.
- Allow it to cool completely before cutting it into squares or diamond shapes.
