- Rice flour - 1 cup (150g)
- Water - 2 cups (500ml)
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh coriander - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1 finely chopped green chili, and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat and slowly add 1 cup of rice flour, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and drizzle 1 tablespoon of oil over the mixture, mixing it in well.
- Cover the pan and let it rest for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh coriander and a drizzle of 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
