- Raisins - 1 tablespoon
- Saffron strands - a pinch
- Water - 1/2 cup
Steps
- In a pan, heat the ghee over medium heat and add the vermicelli. Roast until golden brown, stirring frequently.
- Add the water to the pan and let it simmer until the vermicelli absorbs the water and becomes tender, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the full-fat milk and bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally.
- Once the milk starts to thicken, add sugar and cardamom powder, and mix well.
- Add the saffron strands, chopped almonds, cashews, and raisins, and let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes until it reaches your desired consistency.
