  • Fresh colostrum milk - 200 ml
  • Sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice flour - 1 tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Ghee - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped nuts (almonds, cashews) - 2 tablespoons
  • Saffron strands - a pinch
  • Water - 50 ml

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the rice flour in 50 ml of water and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the ghee over medium heat and add the chopped nuts, sautéing until golden brown.
  3. Add the fresh colostrum milk to the saucepan, followed by the sugar and cardamom powder, stirring well.
  4. Once the mixture starts to heat up, add the dissolved rice flour mixture while continuously stirring to avoid lumps.
  5. Add the saffron strands and continue to cook the mixture, stirring, until it thickens to a pudding-like consistency (about 10-15 minutes).
  6. Remove the saucepan from heat and pour the pudding into serving bowls.
  7. Let the pudding cool at room temperature for a few minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
