- Ghee - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped nuts (almonds, cashews) - 2 tablespoons
- Saffron strands - a pinch
- Water - 50 ml
Steps
- In a small bowl, dissolve the rice flour in 50 ml of water and set aside.
- In a saucepan, heat the ghee over medium heat and add the chopped nuts, sautéing until golden brown.
- Add the fresh colostrum milk to the saucepan, followed by the sugar and cardamom powder, stirring well.
- Once the mixture starts to heat up, add the dissolved rice flour mixture while continuously stirring to avoid lumps.
- Add the saffron strands and continue to cook the mixture, stirring, until it thickens to a pudding-like consistency (about 10-15 minutes).
- Remove the saucepan from heat and pour the pudding into serving bowls.
- Let the pudding cool at room temperature for a few minutes, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
