  • Ghee - 1 teaspoon (for greasing)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the fresh chhena and powdered sugar, mixing well until smooth.
  2. Add the cardamom powder and milk to the chhena mixture, mixing until fully incorporated.
  3. Soak the saffron strands in a tablespoon of warm milk for about 5 minutes, then add to the chhena mixture.
  4. Knead the mixture gently for about 5 minutes to make it smooth and creamy.
  5. Grease a small tray or plate with ghee.
  6. Spread the chhena mixture evenly onto the greased tray, smoothing the surface with a spatula.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped nuts evenly over the top, pressing them lightly into the mixture.
  8. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes to set.
  9. Once set, cut into desired shapes and serve chilled.
