Ingredients

  • Rice flour - 100 grams
  • Pineapple (fresh, finely chopped) - 150 grams
  • Ghee - 30 grams
  • Jaggery (grated) - 50 grams
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 250 ml
  • Cashews - 15 grams
  • Raisins - 15 grams

Steps

  1. In a pan, heat ghee on medium flame and add cashews and raisins. Fry until golden brown, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the finely chopped pineapple and sauté for 3-4 minutes until it softens slightly.
  3. Add grated jaggery to the pan and stir until it melts completely with the pineapple.
  4. Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and gradually add the rice flour, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
  6. Add cardamom powder and mix well until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  7. Fold in the fried cashews and raisins, mixing evenly.
  8. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
