- Rice flour - 100 grams
- Jaggery (grated) - 60 grams
- Ghee (clarified butter) - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, or pistachios) - 30 grams
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Desiccated coconut - 2 tablespoons
- Pinch of salt
Steps
- In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee over medium heat and add the rice flour. Roast until it turns light golden brown and aromatic, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add the grated jaggery and a pinch of salt to the roasted flour, stirring continuously until the jaggery melts and combines well with the flour.
- Incorporate the chopped nuts, cardamom powder, and desiccated coconut into the mixture, stirring until everything is well combined.
- Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly until it's manageable to touch.
- Grease your palms with the remaining ghee and shape the mixture into small, round ladoos (balls).
- Allow the ladoos to cool completely and set before serving.
