  • Jaggery (grated) - 60 grams
  • Ghee (clarified butter) - 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, or pistachios) - 30 grams
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Desiccated coconut - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of ghee over medium heat and add the rice flour. Roast until it turns light golden brown and aromatic, about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Add the grated jaggery and a pinch of salt to the roasted flour, stirring continuously until the jaggery melts and combines well with the flour.
  3. Incorporate the chopped nuts, cardamom powder, and desiccated coconut into the mixture, stirring until everything is well combined.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly until it's manageable to touch.
  5. Grease your palms with the remaining ghee and shape the mixture into small, round ladoos (balls).
  6. Allow the ladoos to cool completely and set before serving.
