Ingredients

  • Kharwa (jaggery) - 100 grams
  • Mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, and pistachios) - 50 grams
  • Ghee (clarified butter) - 1 tablespoon
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Chop the mixed nuts coarsely and set them aside.
  2. In a pan, heat ghee over medium heat, and add the chopped nuts. Roast them for about 3-4 minutes until they are lightly golden and fragrant.
  3. In another pan, add the kharwa and water. Cook on low heat, stirring continuously until the kharwa melts completely and forms a syrupy consistency.
  4. Add the roasted nuts and cardamom powder to the kharwa syrup. Mix well until all the nuts are coated with the syrup.
  5. Pour the mixture onto a greased plate or tray and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Allow it to cool for about 10-15 minutes, then cut it into squares or desired shapes.
