Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Green bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green chili - 1, slit
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add chopped onions. Sauté until they are translucent.
  2. Add ginger, garlic, and green chili. Sauté for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until it softens and blends well with the onion mixture.
  4. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the diced green bell pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  6. Cut the paneer into cubes and add it to the pan. Gently mix to coat the paneer with the spices.
  7. Sprinkle garam masala over the mixture and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
