- Paneer - 200 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Green bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green chili - 1, slit
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add chopped onions. Sauté until they are translucent.
- Add ginger, garlic, and green chili. Sauté for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the chopped tomato and cook until it softens and blends well with the onion mixture.
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the diced green bell pepper and cook for another 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Cut the paneer into cubes and add it to the pan. Gently mix to coat the paneer with the spices.
- Sprinkle garam masala over the mixture and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
