- Roasted chickpea flour (besan) - 100 grams
- Jaggery (grated) - 50 grams
- Ghee (clarified butter) - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped almonds - 30 grams
- Chopped walnuts - 30 grams
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Desiccated coconut - 20 grams
- Water - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a pan, heat the ghee over medium heat and add the roasted chickpea flour. Roast for about 5-7 minutes until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
- Add the grated jaggery and water to the pan, stirring continuously until the jaggery melts and combines well with the flour.
- Mix in the chopped almonds, walnuts, cardamom powder, and desiccated coconut. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool slightly until it is warm to the touch.
- Grease your hands with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small round balls (ladoo).
- Allow the ladoos to cool completely before serving.
