- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Peanuts - 20 grams, roasted
Steps
- In a pan, heat mustard oil over medium heat until hot.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
- Add finely chopped onions and green chili; sauté until the onions turn translucent.
- Stir in the chopped tomatoes and turmeric powder; cook until the tomatoes soften.
- Add the flattened rice (chura) and salt to the pan; mix well to evenly coat the chura with the spices.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, allowing the chura to crisp slightly.
