  • Cashews - 50 grams, chopped
  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coconut flakes - 30 grams
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Walnuts - 30 grams, chopped
  • Chia seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the pitted dates and chia seeds, and let them soak in warm water for 10 minutes.
  2. After soaking, mash the dates with a fork until smooth, adding a pinch of salt and cardamom powder.
  3. In a pan, heat coconut oil over medium heat, then add chopped almonds, cashews, and walnuts, sautéing until lightly golden, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and mix in the mashed date mixture with the sautéed nuts, ensuring everything is well combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper, pressing down firmly.
  6. Sprinkle coconut flakes on top and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to set.
  7. Once set, cut into desired shapes and serve cold or at room temperature.
