Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 200 grams
- Almond flour - 100 grams
- Psyllium husk - 2 tablespoons
- Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Oil - for frying (coconut or olive oil) - about 100 ml
Steps
- Steam the cauliflower florets for about 10 minutes until tender, then drain and mash them in a bowl.
- Add turmeric, cumin, garam masala, chili powder, salt, coriander, green chili, ginger, and garlic to the mashed cauliflower and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine almond flour and psyllium husk. Gradually add water, mixing until a dough forms.
- Divide the cauliflower mixture into small balls (about the size of a golf ball).
- Take a portion of the almond flour dough, flatten it in your palm, and place a cauliflower ball in the center. Wrap the dough around the filling and shape it into a patty.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer the fried Keto Vada Pav to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve hot with green chutney on the side.
