Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 2 tablespoons
  • Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped green chilies - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped ginger - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped onions - 1/4 cup
  • Chopped bell pepper - 1/4 cup
  • Chopped carrots - 1/4 cup
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Water - 1.5 cups

Steps

  1. Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds to the hot ghee and allow them to splutter.
  3. Stir in the chopped green chilies and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add the chopped onions, bell pepper, and carrots, and cook until they soften, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and add the almond flour, stirring well to combine with the vegetables.
  6. Slowly pour in the water while continuously stirring to avoid lumps.
  7. Season with salt and cook until the mixture thickens to a porridge-like consistency, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
