Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach - 200 grams
  • Almond flour - 60 grams
  • Chickpea flour (besan) - 20 grams
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons (adjust as needed)
  • Coconut oil (for frying) - 200 ml

Steps

  1. Wash the spinach thoroughly and chop it finely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, almond flour, chickpea flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients well and gradually add water until you achieve a thick batter that coats the spinach.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Once the oil is hot, carefully drop spoonfuls of the spinach batter into the oil.
  6. Fry the pakoras in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning them halfway through.
  7. Remove the pakoras with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with green chutney or your favorite keto dip.
