Ingredients
- Fresh spinach - 200 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Grated paneer - 100 grams
- Chopped onion - 50 grams
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Green chili - 1 (finely chopped)
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons for frying
Steps
- Wash the fresh spinach and blanch it in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and cool it in ice water. Squeeze out excess water and finely chop the spinach.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, almond flour, grated paneer, chopped onion, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Form small round koftas (dumplings) from the mixture, about 2-3 cm in diameter.
- Heat coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, gently place the koftas in the pan and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Once cooked, remove the koftas from the pan and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve warm as a side dish.
