- Paneer - 200 grams
- Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Bell pepper (red or green) - 1 medium, chopped
- Onion - 1 medium, chopped
- Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Cut the paneer into 2.5 cm cubes and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil to create the marinade.
- Add the paneer cubes, chopped bell pepper, and onion to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated paneer, bell pepper, and onion onto the skewers alternately.
- Once the grill is hot, place the skewers on it and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the paneer is golden brown and slightly charred.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a minute before serving.
- Serve hot with a side of mint chutney or a fresh salad.
