- Psyllium husk - 2 tablespoons
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon
- Water - 50 milliliters
- Oil for frying - 200 milliliters
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium husk, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, black sesame seeds, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add water to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Knead briefly until smooth.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Using a sev maker or piping bag fitted with a star nozzle, carefully pipe small strands of the dough into the hot oil.
- Fry the sev until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally for even cooking.
- Remove the fried sev and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Allow to cool completely before serving. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
