Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 1 cup
  • Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 1 cup (adjust as needed for consistency)
  • Black mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green chili - 1 finely chopped
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon grated
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves - 5-6 leaves, chopped
  • Coconut oil - for cooking

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, salt, black mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chopped green chili, grated ginger, and chopped curry leaves.
  2. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, mixing until you achieve a smooth, pourable batter. Adjust the water quantity as needed.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or tawa over medium heat and grease it lightly with coconut oil.
  4. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the skillet, spreading it into a thin circle. Drizzle a little coconut oil around the edges.
  5. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown.
  6. Flip the dosa and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the other side is cooked through.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding more oil as needed. Serve hot with coconut chutney or your favorite low-carb dip.
